This votive candle is a nice size, 2" x 1 3/4, for longer burn time and provide a soothing natural light perfect for creating ambiance. Made from pure natural beeswax (from and in the USA), these candles are beautiful and delightfully fragrant. Place in a glass jar with a little water in the bottom for a great light source with less clean up! A great way to add non-toxic natural light.
Over time, pure beeswax may develop a film on its surface called bloom, which can easily be removed by buffing with a soft cloth. This is the result of softer oils rising to the surface. Once removed, the bloom will reappear. Bloom does not affect how beeswax candles burn.
To minimize smoke, use a snuffer to extinguish the flame. Keep burning candles away from drafts. For proper burning of beeswax candles, trim wick to 1/4" before burning each time. Burn candles only in a fireproof container. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
