No need to replace a tone block with the new Quinta Pentatonic Flute. Made of pear wood without a tone block, the Quinta Flute has easy articulation and a clear, transparent tone which is slightly stronger than Pentatonic Flutes with a tone block. The unique tone quality of the Choroi Quinta is a clear sound, more like a voice than an instrument. Easy to finger holes aid in producing half notes.
The note range is: d''-e''-g''-a''-b''-d'''-e''". Accessories include a wooden cleaning swab and a cotton flute bag. This flute is purposefully at 432Hz (vs 440) to slow down and calm the soul.
Choroi Pentatonic Flutes are developed for use by young children. They are widely used in first grade in Waldorf Schools throughout the world.
