Arie Ben-David was born on April 9, 1956 in Kibbutz Ein-Dor near Mount Tabor, Galilee, Israel. After completing high school he participated for one year in voluntary social service, and later went on to develop a creative educational program for adolescents with learning and behavioral difficulties. In 1983 he moved to England, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, and Israel, where he now resides. His painting manifest both depth and breadth of style, and include abstract works as well as representational motifs. Breathing together, the colors speak, shout, whisper, and sing, inviting us to look and listen in ever new ways.
